FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE 23rd WORLD MINING CONGRESS

 

Since Brazil was announced as the host of the 24th World Mining Congress, to be take place in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 by the Brazilian Mining Association (IBRAM), the expectations of the sector's executives, researchers and professionals have raised. The 2013 edition in Canada will be an important preview for those who want to know what the Brazilian edition will be like. The congress is going to be realized from August 11 to 15 and is expected to attract 1500 participants.

 

Held in Montreal, the 23rd WMC will be an excellent opportunity to become closer to international players, as well as share knowhow on innovation, advances and trends that are shaping the future of mining, energy, and mineral processing.

 

In a collaborative partnership, the hosts include the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) and five of the country's major universities: McGill University, University of British Columbia, Queen's University, University of Toronto and University of Alberta.
